One injured in Leachville shooting

One man has been injured and another placed in custody in the City of Leachville. Kenneth Mitchell was transported by Emerson Ambulance Service to a hospital in Jonesboro following a 6:55 p.m. shooting. Leachville Police Chief Alan Austin said the shooting occurred at 4th and Ada Street. The alleged shooter, Mackinlee Hayden LeRoy Mendenhall, 23, was apparently arguing with Landon Carranza when Mitchell, a by-stander, was shot in the foot...

Born and raised in Leachville, she was the daughter of the late Orvil Lee and Jean Earline Brock Robertson and was a 1969 graduate of Leachville High School. She was the former owner/operator of Dianna's Ceramic Shop of Leachville before joining the family business at Robertson Brothers Furniture store of Leachville in 1992 as the office manager. Dianna enjoyed working with ceramics, making jewelry and selling Mary Kay Cosmetics. She loved people and never met a stranger. Dianna thoroughly enjoyed the holidays.
