DGM Association, the non-profit support organization for Delta Gateway Museum in downtown Blytheville, recently received a $5,000 donation from Nucor-Yamato Steel Corporation. “We are very grateful to Nucor-Yamato for supporting our effort to develop permanent exhibits,” said the museum’s founding director, Leslie Hester. “NYS has been a consistent and generous supporter of the exhibits project from the beginning.”...

On Thursday President Donald Trump imposed import tariffs on steel and aluminum in the amounts of 25 percent and 10 percent, respectively. These tariffs will impose a tax on the importation of steel and aluminum from all countries, excluding Mexico and Canada. ...

Melvin L. Browning, 73, of Clinton, made his heavenly flight on March 8, 2018. He was born June 15, 1944, in Manila to the late Grace Browning. He was a proud Army veteran and was a retired letter carrier for over 25 years. Melvin was a former mayor of Manila; substitute teacher at Clinton Public Schools for 12 years and was presented with the Arkansas Nursing Home Volunteer of the Year Award. ...
