Billie Jean Sharp, 53, of Turrell, was called to her eternal rest at her home on March 24, 2024. Born on July 31, 1970, in Wynne, her spirit was a beacon of light to all who knew her.

Billie Jean’s memory will be cherished by her devoted husband, Michael Sharp, and her beloved daughters, Veronica (Quinton) Rivera of Marion and Angie Pender of Marked Tree. She leaves behind a legacy in her grandson, Geremiah Henton of Chicago, Ill. Billie Jean also leaves her brothers, Jimmy Wayne Pender and Larry Pender, both of Kennett, Mo., Donald Pender of Payneway and James Pender of Paragould, as well as her sisters, Nina Burns and Mary Jane Ragland, both of Kennett, Mo., each of whom shared a special bond with her.

She was greeted in heaven by her parents, Arch and Nina Pender, and her siblings, Dennis Ray, Arch Author Pender, Catherine Ragland, Nancy Pender and Charlene Ellis, who preceded her in this journey.

Family and friends were invited to a visitation on Saturday, March 30, from 12-2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, located in Tyronza. A funeral service honoring Billie Jean’s life commenced at 2 p.m., with Bro. Gary Andrews presiding.

Wilson Funeral Home had the distinct honor of serving the Sharp family in their time of mourning. The community extends its heartfelt sympathies and prayers to Billie Jean’s loved ones.
