Tommie Lynn Goad, 69, of Bradford passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was born in Leachville on Nov. 10, 1954, to Grant and Margaret (Cagle) Goad.

Tommie worked at several jobs throughout the years from construction, farming and Choate Machine and Tool. He later worked as a factory supervisor at Quick Point. He loved fishing in his spare time. If anyone ever needed help Tommie was always ready to do what he could. He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Everett Goad, Darrell Goad, Grant Goad, Emma Lucy, Ray Goad and Willis Goad.

Tommie is survived by his brother, William Goad (Mary) of Bradford; two sisters, Judy Brown (Argene) of Bon Aqua, Tenn., and W. Sue Geigar (Ted) of Florence, Ala.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel at Bradford. The funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 1 p.m., officiated by Tonya Hancock. The interment will be held at Oakland Cemetery, Bradford.
