Guy Junior Robinson

Guy Junior Robinson, 71, of Leachville, passed from this life Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born at Rodman’s Hospital in Leachville, he was the son of the late Muriel and Berniece Hill Robinson. He was raised in the Buckeye Community and was a lifelong area resident. JR was a member of First United Methodist Church in Leachville. A fourth-generation farmer, JR was passionate about his life’s work. It was more than a way to make a living, it was a way of life. His family was named Mississippi County Farm Family of the Year in 2019, raising watermelons, peanuts and cotton. JR and Susan always enjoyed having horses on the farm and in recent years began operating a cattle farm in addition to their other ventures. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ola Muriel Buck.

Survivors include, his wife of 41 years, Susan Watson Robinson of the home; one son, Dal Luther of Leachville; and one grandson, Lane Luther of Paragould.

Private burial will be in the Horner Cemetery in Hornersville, Mo., under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Online guest register is at www.howardfuneralservice.com.
