Francis Adam McDaniel

Francis Adam McDaniel, 84, known affectionately as Adam to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on Feb. 20, 2024, in Jackson, Tenn.

Adam was born in the 40 & 8 Community to Clarence and Cardy Gordon McDaniel. He was a member of Pathway Church. Adam proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before embarking on a fulfilling career with Motor Appliance, from which he retired.

In addition to his parents, Adam was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Adam leaves behind his beloved wife, Mavis McDaniel of the home; four children, Theresa Swann of Blytheville, Robert McDaniel and Karen of Jonesboro, Michael Greer of Long Beach, Calif., Richard Greer of Gosnell; four grandchildren, Adam and Sydney Swann, Nathan McDaniel, Quinton Jackson; and one great-grandchild, Lilyrose Swann.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at Pathway Church with Rev. Danny Rigney officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
