Charlotte Ann Carmichiel

Charlotte Ann Carmichiel, 59, of Portageville, Mo., passed away Feb. 10, 2024. She was born May 29, 1964, in Osceola to Thurman and Maggie Thompson. Charlotte was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Carmichiel; one grandson, Damon Thompson; three brothers, Jimmy Thompson, Joe Frank Thompson and Thurman “Pop” Thompson; and two sisters, Betty Huskey and Willie Ashburn.

She is survived by her two sons, Chris (Amy) Thompson of Eagle Butte, S.D., and Jeffery (Stephanie) Thompson of Portageville, Mo.; two daughters, LaDonna (Wesly) Smith of Keiser and Ashley Hines of Tyronza; two brothers, David Thompson of Marie and Jerry Dale Thompson of Bassett; and one sister, Sara (Ricky) Cooper of Las Vegas, Nev. Charlotte also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, from 9-11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1323 W. Keiser Ave, Osceola, AR 72370. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., also at Wilson Funeral Home, with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating.
