Geraldine Hobbs

Geraldine Hobbs, 80, of Lexington, Tenn., passed away Jan. 17, 2024 at Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born Jan. 8, 1944, in Jackson, Tenn., to Leon and Maybell Pierce Johnson. She retired from factory work. Ms. Hobbs was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sidney Edward Hobbs; one daughter, Betty Jo Crawford; and one brother, Dennis Wayne Johnson.

She is survived by one daughter, Pam Hubbard of Atoka, Tenn.; three brothers, Leon Eugene “Buddy” Johnson of Henderson, Tenn., Billy Johnson of Brownsville, Tenn., and Harold Wayne Johnson of Jackson, Tenn.; four sisters, Ivene Lovelace of Greenfield, Tenn., Christine Young of Mercer, Tenn., Joyce Ballard of Osceola and Cathy Hughes of Blytheville; six grandchildren, Allison Crawford, Emily Crawford, Tiffany Hubbard, Will Hubbard, Stone Hubbard, and Makala Hubbard; and four great-grandchildren.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of the direct cremation.
