Cynthia Ann Brown, 64, of Blytheville, passed away Jan. 3, 2024, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was born April 24, 1959, in Blytheville. Cynthia was a beloved homemaker. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Blytheville.

Cynthia is survived by her loving daughter, Monica Brown of Blytheville; four brothers, Vincent (Roslina) Moran of Balch Spring, Texas, Lee (Cassandra) Moran of Irving, Texas, Floyd (Sharon) Moran of Inkster, Mich., and John Moran of Wayne, Mich.; 11 sisters, Louise Edwards of Chicago, Ill., Mary Carter of Blytheville, Edith (Willie) Dorsey of Garden City, Mich., Glenda McDaniel of Dallas, Texas, Lillie Whitehead of Inkster, Mich., Arvelia (Dr. Ronnie) Sullivan of Litchfield Park, Ariz., Debra (Charles) Wells of Conway, Patricia Roman of Washington, D.C., Dr. Sheila Bunton of Dallas, Texas,  Rose Heard of Blytheville, and Angela (Anthony) England of Sachse, Texas. She also leaves to cherish in her memory 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, all of whom were a special part of Cynthia’s life.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Earline Moran; one son, Herbert Brown; two daughters, Lakeyda Brown and Marquita Brown; two brothers, James Johnson and Raymond Johnson, as well as four sisters, Mary Moran, Cleo Lard, Catherine Moran and Priscilla Moran.

Cynthia’s life was celebrated with a service Monday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1020 S. Division St., Blytheville, with Rev. James Jones officiating. Burial immediately followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Blytheville. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville assisted the family with all arrangements.
