Daniel Kahalley George

Daniel Kahalley George, 78, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Osceola, passed away Dec. 9, 2023, at Baptist East in Memphis. He was born Sept. 10, 1945, in Memphis, Tenn., to Louis H. and Olivia Kukulley George, Sr. He graduated from Osceola High School in 1963 and attended Arkansas State University. He sold his first car at the age of 11, took over the family dealership (Louis George Motors) until the age of 75. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Olivia George, and his son, Daniel Joseph “Joey” George.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Candace Schenk George; his son, Walter Louis George; his brother, Louis George, Jr. of Danville, Calif.; and his sister, Shirley Hamra of Malden, Mo.

Visitation will be held Jan. 13, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with the service at 1 p.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church in Osceola. In lieu of flowers, we invite you to make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Danny’s memory. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of the services.
