Charles Lee Starr

Charles Lee Starr, 71, of Joiner, passed away Dec. 18, 2023, at SMC Medical Center in Osceola. He was born April 2, 1952 to Frank and Lola Starr. Mr. Starr was a retired landscaper. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great grandchild, Havyen Odell.

He is survived by two sons, Charles Starr, Jr. of Joiner and Folando Jones of Osceola; one daughter, Shona Jones of Marion; one brother, Frank Starr of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Donna Starr of Indiana, Emma Starr of Chicago, Ill., and Alberta Graves of Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Thalia Jones, Latijah Starr, James Johnson III and Jameson Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Grayson Odell and MaKinley Dority.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 30, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at WIlson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Evadale.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of the services.
