Ola Throys Nachlinger

Ola Throys Nachlinger, 90, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Osceola, passed away Dec. 20, 2023, at Brookdale Jackson Oaks Retirement Center in Jackson, Tenn. She was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Kilgore, Texas, to O.T. and Jewel McIlveene Barton. Ms. Nachlinger was a retired school teacher with over 40 years in the Osceola School District and was of the Church of Christ faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Nachlinger; and one brother, Roland Barton.

She is survived by one son, Ron Nachlinger of Paragould; two daughters, Talyna Sandine of San Leandro, Calif., and Lori Smith of Collierville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of the cremation arrangements.
