Mary Kathryn McNeal

Mary Kathryn McNeal, 68, of Osceola, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born in Keiser on Oct. 2, 1955, to the late Ike Lee Caruthers Sr. and Emma Strode. Mrs. McNeal was a retired factory worker and a member of Bethel Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Osceola.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McNeal was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl Henry Caruthers, Bobby Lee Caruthers, Ike Lee Caruthers Jr. and Lee Otis Coleman; and one sister, Oypere Marie Ursery.

She is survived by one son, Rubin Rattler of Osceola; one daughter, Ruby Rattler of Osceola; four sisters, Linda Faye Caruthers and Ruthie Lee Caruthers, both of Osceola, Essie Gaye Caruthers of Olive Branch, Miss., and Shirley Coleman of California; four grandchildren, Fredrick Scales Jr., Kaci Scales, Mykelle Shannon and Mykayla Shannon; and two great-grandchildren, Tamiyah Black and Alazijah Scales.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. at Bethel Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Osceola with Brother Phillip Tidwell officiating. Burial will be held in Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of all arrangements.
