Yesenia Martinez-Gamez

Yesenia Martinez-Gamez, 22, of Marked Tree, passed away Oct. 3, 2023, in Memphis, Tenn. She was born July 12, 2001, in Rogers to Celestino Martinez and Vicenta Gamez-Gudino. Yesenia was an employee at the Tobacco Store in Horn Lake, Miss.

She is survived by her parents, Celestino Martinez of Mexico and Vicenta Gamez-Gudino (Edgardo Castillo) of Marked Tree; two brothers, Angel Martinez-Gamez and Christian Gudino of Marked Tree; four sisters, Esmeralda Martinez-Gamez, Jasmine Martinez-Gamez and Ulyssa Gamez of Marked Tree and Isabella Mason of Memphis, Tenn.; grandparents, Catalina Gudino and Odilon Gamez of Mexico; two nephews, Leonardo Castillo and Alvi Martinez-Smith; and two nieces, Guadalupe Castillo and Mazikeen Smith.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 12-2 p.m.with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial will be at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza will be in charge of the services.
