Linda Kathryn Vancely

Linda Kathryn Vancely, 35, of Leachville, passed from this life Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at her home. Born in Blytheville to the late Linda Christine Benham, she was raised in Manila and had been a Leachville resident since 2017. Linda was a 2006 graduate of Manila High School. She was a hostess and waitress at Marriott Courtyard in Jonesboro and a member of First Baptist Church of Manila. Linda enjoyed drawing and painting, turkey hunting, being social and spending time with friends and family, especially her son. She was always positive and found the best in people and circumstances. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Floyd Vancely Jr.

Survivors include one son, Jonathan Welton Kirk of the home; her father, Eugene Vancely, and his wife, Patricia Ann Vancely, of Manila; three brothers, Anthony Benham of Manila, Nicholas Eugene Vancely of Jonesboro and Matthew Lawrence Vancely of Manila.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Reverend Ray Dill officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Perkins, Chase Shelton, PJ Brumley, Terry Pearson, Robbie Pearson, Cody Wells and John Rose.
