Leslie DeWayne LaCotts

Leslie DeWayne LaCotts, 64, of Blytheville passed away Oct. 7, 2023, at his home in Blytheville. He was born to Joe LaCotts and Ruby Modlin Bennett on Oct. 12, 1958. Mr. LaCotts was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Carroll LaCotts; stepfather, Duane Bennett; one brother, Jay LaCotts; and one sister, Pam Beall.

He is survived by his mother, Ruby Bennett of Pirv, Calif.; his wife, Kim LaCotts of Blytheville; one son, Dustin LaCotts of Blytheville; two daughters, Casper Golden of Blytheville and Leslie Pearson of Kilmichael, Miss.; two brothers, Joe LaCotts of Lakeland, Fla., and Henry Bennett of Avenal, Calif.; four sisters, Kim Galarza and Sabina Real, both of California, Donna Elam of Idaho, and Shirley Bennett of Tennessee; and 10 grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 15, starting at 2 p.m. with chaplain Marcus Hoover officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
