Bernard Ardell Thomas

Bernard Ardell Thomas, 61, of Blytheville passed from this life on Sunday Oct. 1, 2023, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born Nov. 23, 1960, to the late Albert B. Nickerson and the late Bonnie Thomas Nickerson in Osceola. He was a member of the Tabernacle M.B. Church in Osceola and worked as a janitor up to his retirement.

Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Nickerson and Bonnie Thomas.

He is survived by his special friend, Deonna Calvert of Blytheville; one stepson, Antwan Walker of Blytheville; three stepdaughters, Jennique Hopkins of Jonesboro, Yasmine Davis and Maria Davis, both of Blytheville; four brothers, Boyd Anthony (Veronica) Thomas and Gaylon Nickerson, both of Osceola, Albert Eugene Nickerson of Conway and Fabian (Jorie) Thomas of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Toshiba Danyel (Roddrick) Pugh of Osceola and Pagni Nickerson of Wichita, Kan.; six grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 14, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with Rev. ML Smith officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of arrangements.
