Ellis Lee Brisher

Ellis Lee Brisher, 58, of Paragould, passed from this life Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, at Saint Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Alican, Mich., he was the son of Agnes Brisher and the late Ellis Brisher. He was raised in Hayti, Mo., and had been a longtime Paragould resident. He was employed by Plastene Supply Company for 15 years until his retirement in 1995. Ellis enjoyed working outdoors, tending to his rose bushes, spending time with family and friends and making people laugh. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Brisher.

Survivors include two sons, Chance Brisher (Andrea) of Mulberry and Christopher Brisher (Paula) of Van Buren; two daughters, Casey Neal of Portageville, Mo., and Jessica Brisher of Caruthersville, Mo.; his mother, Agnes Brisher of Paragould; one brother, Charles Householder of Mountainburg; two sisters, Bonnie Anderson of Alma and Sherri Garrett of Van Buren. Ellis also leaves six grandchildren and a dear friend, Janice Crossno.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Bishop Rick Ethridge officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.HowardFuneralService.com.
