Willie B. Cooper Sr.

Willie B. Cooper Sr. was born Jan. 19, 1958, to Bilbo Cooper and Earnestine Cover in Hughes. On Sept. 23, 2023, God called his servant home from labor at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Willie B. Cooper Sr. proudly served his county in the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Sherita Smith of Hayti, Mo., Christina Jones of Blytheville, Tammie Wilson of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Sangranita Cooper of Jonesboro; four sons, Aaron Meadows of St. Louis, Mo., Willie B. Cooper Jr, of Pine Bluff, Christopher Cooper of Chicago, Ill., and Samuel Taylor of Pacific, Mo.; two sisters, Bobbie Wilson and Martha Mack, both of Racine, Wis.; two brothers, Maurice Jones of Racine, Wis., and James Cooper of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:55 Saturday, Oct. 7, at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home & Cremation Chapel, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville, AR 72315. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at (Birdeye) Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 3600 AR-163, Cherry Valley, AR 72324 on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 11:00 a.m.
