William Ronald “Ronnie” Coats

William Ronald “Ronnie” Coats, 78, of Marked Tree, passed away Sept. 8, 2023, in Marion. He was retired from Midsouth Manufacturing, an auctioneer and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Coats was born April 22, 1945, in Marked Tree to Milton Coats and Juanita King. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Coats, Juanita King (Joe) Callins, and his nephew, Shannon Southern.

He is survived by sister, Pam Southern of Marion; one daughter, Holly Mars of Jonesboro; nephew, Chad (Brigitte) Southern of Marion; niece, Michelle (Lance) McDaniel of Marion; special great-niece, Skyla Burton of West Memphis; and one grandchild, Zaxton Mars.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 10-11 a.m. with the funeral at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial will be at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza with Chad Southern and Bro. Matthew Kerley officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza will be in charge of the services.
