Michael Anthony Harris

Michael Anthony Harris, 59, passed away Aug. 19, 2023, at his residence in Cordova, Tenn. Michael was born March 7, 1964, to Austin Harris and Annie Mae Foster in Blytheville. Mr. Harris worked as a bus driver as well as a truck driver and was devoted to his brotherhood of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

He is preceded in death by his father,Austin “Bruester” Harris; two daughters, Quanesha Cannady and Chasity Cannady; and one brother, Freddie Lee Harris.

Mr. Harris is survived by his mother, Annie Mae Harris of Blytheville; three daughters, Kristin Harris of Memphis, Tenn., Kamesha Cannady of Cordova, Tenn., and Miasha Harris of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Travis (Alicia) Henderson and Freeman (Geneva) Harris, both of Blytheville; five sisters, Betty Lue Lipsey of Oklahoma City, Okla., Marilyn (Daniel) Thompson of Blytheville, Irma (Ricky) Stewart of Oklahoma City, Okla., Tiffany (Raymond) Campbell and Sharon (Robert) Lewis, both of Gosnell; as well as one grandchild, Avery Cannady of Cordova, Tenn.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 1, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville from 5-7 p.m. The funeral will take place Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Prince of Peace Church in Blytheville at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Anthony Latham officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville will be in charge of the arrangements.
