Jeanna Faye Oxford

Jeanna Faye Oxford was born Dec. 5, 1955, in Blytheville to Wayne L. Oxford and Patty Graham Oxford. She passed away Aug. 22, 2023, in Manila at the age of 67. She had been employed at the Mississippi County Assessor’s Office in Blytheville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Patty Oxford; her beloved son, Neal Adam “AJ” Jarboe; and one brother, Gary Oxford.

She is survived by three brothers, Ron Oxford of Charlotte, N.C., and Bob Oxford and Jerry Oxford, both of Texas; her daughter-in-love, Amanda Jarboe of Chesapeake, Vir.; one precious granddaughter, Reese Jarboe of Chesapeake, Vir.; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.

Through AJ’s time in the service and his childhood friendships, those he considered his brothers and sisters were immediately “adopted” by Jeanna. They all affectionately called her Momma and their children called her Grandma Jeanna. With her big heart, she loved them all as if they were her own.
