Mary Ann (Whiteside) Mosley

Mary Ann (Whiteside) Mosley, 68, transitioned peacefully on Aug. 17, 2023, in Blytheville. She was born March 1, 1955, in Blytheville to the late Orzell “Odell” and Virginia Whiteside. Mary Ann was a beloved sister and aunt who touched the hearts of many. She was preceded in death by her children, Tony Mosley, Natasha Mosley and Tamika Mosley; brothers, Charles Whiteside and Odell Whiteside Jr.; and sisters, Bernice Whiteside, Deborah Whiteside, Louatrice Whiteside and Dorothy Coburn. She happily retired after working at Viskase for 37 years.

Mary Ann is survived by her doting husband of 52 years, Lee Matthew Mosley Sr.; six children, Malechia Mosley of Blytheville, Michael Mosley of Blytheville, Lee Mosley Jr. of Osceola, Travis Mosley of Blytheville, Jeffery “Bo” Mosley (Katy) of Alameda, Calif., and Kayren Mosley Sr. of Blytheville; two bonus daughters, Kadasia Mosley of Gosnell and Tuesday Goodlow of St. Louis, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Candace Mosley of Osceola and Krystal Denkins of Knoxville, Tenn. She is also survived by four sisters, Carolyn Whiteside of Chicago, Ill., Eloise Whiteside of Lake Wales, Fla., Eva Kirkham of Conway and Lisa Whiteside of Osceola. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary Ann will be deeply missed by her many other loving relatives and friends.

Mary Ann will always be remembered for her quick wit and rambunctious personality. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 25, at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Bethlehem M.B. Church, 325 W. Bard Ave., Osceola. Interment will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
