Myra Joan Williams

Myra Joan Williams, 86, of Judsonia, formerly of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2023, at Oakdale Nursing Home in Judsonia.

Myra was born in Beulah, N.D., to Andrew and Hildegard Sandau Froescher. She worked at Mississippi County Hospital where she was the materials management clerk for many years. She was awarded employee of the month as well as employee of the year from the hospital, and was proud of her accomplishments in her career. Myra was an excellent cook and often showed her love through cooking. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She loved her church and gospel music. Myra enjoyed life and was the most selfless, giving person. You never saw her without a smile on her face.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Willmer Weltz; second husband, Billy Williams; and daughter, Deborah Walker.

Myra is survived by her daughters, Vicki Langrell of Lonoke, Diana Wetmore of Portland, Maine, and Joleen McNulty of Beebe; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lou Alice Schalffman of Beulah, N.D., and Ramona Johnson of Zap, N.D.
