Vollie Harris

Vollie Harris of Osceola was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Elaine to the late Jack Harris and Mollie Young Harris. He departed this life on Aug. 3, 2023, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro at the age of 93. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Cynthia Harris, Shirley Twillie, Stefan Coleman and Shannon Coleman, all of Osceola, Scotty Ridley of Wilson, Vanessa Rofe of Marion, Rosemary Coleman of West Palm Beach, Fla., Rhonda Royster of Sacramento, Calif., Kentrell Harris, Kyra Harris, and Kaylen Harris, all of West Memphis, Stacy Coleman of Kennett, Mo., and Micheal Robinson of Ben Harbor, Mich.; his brother, William Howard of Osceola; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 11, from 5-7 p.m. at New Mt. Pleasant Church, 522 S. Broadway, Osceola. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, at Osceola High School Arena, 2800 W. Semmes Avenue, Osceola, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
