Margie Guy Lewis Maxwell

Margie Guy Lewis Maxwell, 82, of Earle, passed away July 13, 2023, at her home. She was born Jan. 9, 1941, to Guy Sheridan and Rubye Simpson Lewis. She was a food service director, bus driver and a member of Barton Chapel Baptist Church in Tyronza. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse Maxwell; one son, Paul Maxwell; and her sister, Madge Horton.

She is survived by one son, Dean Maxwell of Earle; one daughter, Tracy Maxwell of Earle; two brothers, John Lewis and Mike Lewis of Earle; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday, July 17, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with the funeral at 1 p.m. at Barton Chapel Baptist Church in Tyronza. Burial was at Gibson Bayou Cemetery in Earle with Bro. Kirk Martin officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of the services.
