Bonnie Jean Nickerson

Bonnie Jean Nickerson, 84, of Osceola, passed away July 22, 2023 at Flo & Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle MB Church in Osceola. Ms. Bonnie was born March 4, 1939, in Osceola to Howard and Idell Mixon Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert B. Nickerson; three brothers, Roy Thomas, John Thomas and Howard Thomas; four sisters, Carrie Harris, Ann Moore, Christine Jones and Idell Thomas.

She is survived by five sons, Anthony Thomas of Osceola, Bernard Nickerson and Gaylon Nickerson of Blytheville, Eugene Nickerson of Conway and Fabian Thomas of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Toshiba Pugh of Osceola and Pagni Nickerson of Wichita, Kan.; 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 29, from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral at 10 a.m. at Tabernacle MB Church in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Rev. M.L. Smith officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of the services.
