Roy James Hamby Whitaker

Roy James Hamby Whitaker, 66, of Blytheville, died July 18, 2023. Mr. Whitaker was a mechanic for many years. He was born May 19, 1957, in Victoria to A.B. Whitaker and Dorothy Lucille McDonald Whitaker. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.B. Whitaker and Dorothy Woods of Victoria.

Mr. Whitaker is survived by his wife, Patricia Whitaker; two daughters, Dixie Cross of Jonesboro and Patricia Whitaker of Blytheville; two brothers, Joseph McDonald and Richard McDonald; one sister, Maxine Lee of Crestview, Fla.; two special nieces, Lillie Deckdlman and Charlene Yarbrough; one special nephew, Charlie McGarrety Jr.; and one special brother-in-law, Charlie McGarrety Sr.

There will be no funeral service. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
