Curtis Nelson Tacker

Curtis Nelson Tacker, 81, of Luxora, passed away June 26, 2023, at his daughter’s house in Manila. He was born Feb. 28, 1942, in Selmer, Tenn., to Marion Dalton Tacker and Annie Ray Vinson. He was a farmer and repairman by trade and spent the last 50 years working for Ed Harshman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Tacker and Annie White; his wife, Jewel Tacker; and one son, Jerry Ennis.

He is survived by his sister, Diane Northcutt of Manila; three sons, Raymond Hartsfield, Christopher Burnett and Curtis Tacker; four daughters, Cynthia Moore, Regina (Dennis) Vandergriff, Pamela Martin and Kelly (Tony) Wheeler; 19 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of the cremation services.
