Rosita Leyva Lopez

Rosita Leyva Lopez, 57, of Osceola, formerly of Dyess, passed away June 5, 2023, at SMC Medical Center in Osceola. She was born March 3, 1966, in Weslaco, Texas, to Mario Alberto Lopez and Maria DeJesus Olivares. Rosita was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nora Lopez.

She is survived by her husband, Marco Antonio Leyva of Osceola; one son, Neftal Leyva of Dyess; three daughters, Erica (Jaime) Garcia of Rio Grande City, Texas, Rosita (Alejandro) Huerta and Alexia Leyva of Osceola; three brothers, Leopoldo Rafael Lopez of Osceola, Victor Manuel Lopez of Weslazo, Texas, and Mario Alberto Lopez of Mercedes, Texas; one sister, Briseydee Reyes of Mercedes, Texas; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 8, from 12:30-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of the services and the cremation.
