Glenda Faye Finley

Glenda Faye Finley, 75, passed from this life Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born in Lepanto, she was the daughter of the late Everette and Juanita Jackson Reed. Glenda graduated from Leachville High School and had been a Manila resident since 1965. She was employed by Milwaukee Tool and Die and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Manila. Glenda enjoyed board games, fishing, riding four wheelers and visiting at the senior citizens center. She especially treasured time spent with her family and family gatherings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Doyle Guthrie.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, John Finley, Jr., of the home; sister-in-law raised in the home as a daughter, Brenda Kaye Holt of Leachville; three grandchildren, Billy Holt (Cristin) and Louanne Holt, both of Leachville, and Christy Painter (Jerry) of Manila.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Reverend Harold McMickle officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.
