Robert Elliott, Jr.

Robert Elliott, Jr., 89, of Osceola, passed away June 2, 2023, at Harris Healthcare in Osceola. He was a retired factory worker and a member of St. John Full Gospel Church in Osceola. He was born Oct. 20, 1933, in Osceola to Robert “Bob” and Gustavia J. Neely Elliott, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Gustavia Elliott, Sr.; his wife, Blanchie Elliott; two brothers, John B. Houston and Eddie D. Houston; two sisters, Augustus Thompson and Louise Elliott.

He is survived by seven sons, Dewayne Elliott, Gland Elliott, Wade (Angela) Elliott, Tony Elliott and Christopher Minor of Osceola, Robert (Lapamela) Elliott III of Gosnell, AR and Jerome (Cassandra) Elliott of Marion; one daughter, Valerie (James) Key of Osceola; 43 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, June 9, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10, at 10 a.m. at St. John Full Gospel in Osceola with Bishop Jerome Elliott officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
