Vernell Crain

Vernell Crain born was born Jan. 11, 1928, in Marie, to the late Allen Rhodes and Sarah Thompson Rhodes. She passed away May 27, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is cherished in memory by her five daughters, Annie Mashell, Betty Wells, Shirley Wright, Valerie Brown, all of Blytheville, and Mary Ramsey of Leesville, La.; five sons, Robert Crain, J.C. Crain and Russell Crain, all of Blytheville, Bobby Crain of Houston, Texas, and Walter Crain of Marshall, Texas; 45 grandchildren,104 great-grandchildren,41 great-great-grandchildren; and host of other family members.

Visitation will be Friday, June 9, from 5-7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Chapel, 634 W. Main Street, Blytheville. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 10, at Prince of Peace M.B. Church at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Memory Garden Cemetery in Blytheville.
