Brenda Permenter East

Brenda Permenter East, 78, of Jonesboro passed away May 28, 2023, at Arkansas Continued Care in Jonesboro. She was born April 29, 1945, in Luxora to Junior Permenter and Doris Ellis. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Robert Harris.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Alvin East of Jonesboro; three daughters, Robin (Wally) Harris Lee of Marked Tree, Janet (Larry) Hosman of Trumann and Jennifer (Dan) of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two brothers, Larry (Jeanie) Permenter of Blanchard, La., and Gary (Peggy) Permenter of Tyronza; five grandchildren, Alex, Karmyn, Austin, Carter and Noah; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, from 2-3 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Graveside services will be Sunday, June 4, at 4 p.m. at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza will be in charge of the arrangements.
