Louatrice “Jenny” Whiteside

Louatrice “Jenny” Whiteside, 61, passed away March 22, 2023, in Gosnell. She was born Oct. 25, 1961, in Blytheville, to the late Orzell “Odell” and Virginia Whiteside. Louatrice was a beloved sister and aunt who touched the hearts of many. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Charles Whiteside and Odell Whiteside Jr.; and sisters; Bernice Whiteside, Deborah Whiteside and Dorothy Colburn (Whiteside). At the time of her passing, she was employed at JMS in Blytheville.

Louatrice is survived by her three children, Damien Whiteside of Dyersburg, Tenn., Patrice Lee of Memphis, Tenn., and Brea Crawford of Blytheville; and one grandson. She is also survived by five sisters, Carolyn Whiteside of Chicago, Ill., Eloise Whiteside of Lake Wales, Fla., Mary Ann (Lee) Mosley of Blytheville, Eva Kirkhom of Conway and Lisa Whiteside of Osceola. Additionally, her niece Malechia Mosley of Blytheville, who was very close and dear to her, also survives her.

Louatrice will be deeply missed by her many other loving relatives and kind friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 31, from 5-7 p.m. at Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 1, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem M.B. Church in Osceola. Interment will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
