James Allen “Poot” Faulkner

James Allen “Poot” Faulkner, 72, of Luxora, passed away March 25, 2023, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was a retired City of Osceola maintenance employee. Mr. Faulkner was born Feb. 10, 1951, in Osceola to William Lloyd and Ray Faulkenberry Faulkner. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Floyd Shepperson; two brothers, Keny Faulkner and Danny Faulkner.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Imogene Faulkner of Luxora; two sons, Jimmy Faulkner and Archie (Michelle) Shepperson; three daughters, Pepper Watson, Angie Faulkner and Dorothy (Jimmy) Cook; one brother, Timmy Faulkner; two sisters, Linda Gamble and Sandra Faulkner; four grandchildren, Larry “Biggen” Mustion, Josh Cook, Destiny “Gal” Shepperson and Gary Shepperson; a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of cremation services.
