Kenneth O’Kane Ellis

Kenneth O’Kane Ellis, 63, of Blytheville, passed away on March 6, 2023, at Heritage Square Nursing Center.

Kenneth was born to Rayburn Ellis and Shirley Ann Sutton Ellis McDaniel in Osceola. Kenneth was known by his friends and family as “PeeWee.” He was formerly employed as superintendent of Blytheville Waste Water. He was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan, St. Louis Cardinals fan, and a friend to all four-legged animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by siblings, Danny Ray Sutton, Dora Jean Ellis Reyes, James Rayburn Ellis, Sammy Dean Ellis and John Benjamin McDaniel; ex-wife Ruth Ellis; aunts, Cynthia Ann Elliott and Jimmie Ruth Sutton; nephews and nieces, Matthew Sutton, Rachel Morgan Rousseau, Jennifer Ellis Brumley, Lindsey Ellis Clark, Joshua Dylan Ellis, Jacob Dalton Ellis, Samantha Joann Ellis, and Kristen McDaniel; four great-nephews and three great-nieces; as well as many cousins, extended family, and friends who loved him so very much.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Sutton, a cousin to PeeWee officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. The family requests memorials be made the Blytheville Humane Society or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
