Janie Carol Wilkerson

Janie Carol Wilkerson, 75, passed away Nov. 30, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Janie was born in Dyess to Marshall Walker and Ethel Bell Walker. She worked for Luxora Housing Authority where she was the office manager. She was an avid Razorbacks fan. Janie loved her family and was looking forward to the birth of her first great-granddaughter in January.

Janie is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Billy Joe Walker.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Buford Wilkerson of the home; sons, Chris Wilkerson and wife Jennifer of Bella Vista and Jeremy Wilkerson and wife Clare of Gulfport, Miss.; sister, Joyce Holt of West Memphis; and grandchildren, Anna Beth, Sarah, Luke, Jace, Landon, and Eden.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at Luxora First Baptist Church, 206 West Calhoun in Luxora with Rev. Roger Duffel officiating. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
