Anita Carrie Thomas

Anita Carrie Thomas, 87, of El Paso, Texas, formerly of Wilson, passed away Nov. 5, 2022, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia MB Church in Wilson. Ms. Thomas was born April 13, 1935, in Athens, Ga., to Julius and Marie Bazzelle Thrasher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Marie Thrasher; her husband, Charlie B. Thomas, and her brother.

She is survived by one niece, Sandra Reed, and three nephews of New York.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 12, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Macedonia MB Church in Wilson. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Wilson with Rev. Bryant Whitted officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of the arrangements.
