Jimmy Lee Harston

Jimmy Lee Harston, 80, of Joiner passed away March 8, 2022, at his residence. He was a retired construction worker, a business owner and a member of First Pentecostal Church in Lepanto. Mr. Harston was born April 27, 1941, in Bassett to Jessie and Vivian Bennett Harston Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bruce Harston; two brothers, Jessie Harston III and Jerry Harston; and one great-grandchild, Chance Pickron.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Harston of Joiner; four sons, Jimmy (Amanda) Harston of Ashland, Miss., Doran (Miram Price) Harston, Charles Harston, Gaylon Harston, all of Joiner; three daughters Cindy Gibbs of Wilson, Vivian Harston of Joiner, Felecia Harston of Blytheville; one daughter/granddaughter, Kayla Ward of Osceola; three brothers, Billy Harston of Powhatan, Buster Harston of Marked Tree, Bobby Harston of Wilson; one sister, Janie Harston of Keiser; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 12, from 6-8 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church in Lepanto. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church in Lepanto with the burial at Louise Chapel Cemetery in Joiner with Bro.Bill John Harris and Bro. Jonathan Neely officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge of arrangements.
