James Edward Coleman

James Edward Coleman, 74, of Tyronza passed away Oct. 5, 2021, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. He was a farm worker and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Coleman was born May 8, 1947, in Lepanto to Orby Coleman and Mayo Johnson Sipes. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Glenda Coleman; one daughter, Donna Sitzes; two brothers, Robert Sipes and Bobby Phillips; two sisters, Liz Hasley and Ruth Smallwood.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Coleman of Marion and Michael Montague of Tyronza; one daughter, Patricia Mol of Paragould; two brothers, William Sipes of Texas and Kenneth Coleman of Arkansas; three sisters, Cleo Ann Sipes of Lepanto, Brenda Coleman of Memphis, Tenn., and Barbara Coleman of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 8, at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Burial followed at Tyronza Cemetery with Brother Gary Andrews officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of all arrangements.
