Herbert Julius Miller

Herbert Julius Miller, 83 of Cardwell, Mo., passed from this life Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born in Clarkton, Mo., he was the son of the late George Washington and Melinda Troop Miller and had been a longtime resident of Chicago, Ill., before making his home in Cardwell in 2003. Herbert was a retired supervisor for Gardner Metal Corp. with 48 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars and watching WWE wrestling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Barbara Brannum Miller; three brothers, Lewis Miller, Frank Miller and George Miller; two sisters Betty Frasher and Katheryn Miller.

Survivors include three sons, Herbert Julius Miller, Jr. of Cardwell, Thomas Wayne Miller and Robbie Miller (Mary Beth), all of Chicago, Ill.; four daughters, Malinda Miller of Cardwell, Barbara Kriske of Paragould Judy Caldwell of Wonder Lake, Ill., and Cindy Miller of Arbyrd, Mo.; one sister, Mary Ann Campbell of Murray, Ky. He also leaves 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with burial to follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Sunday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Online guest register: www.howardfuneralservice.com
