Sandra Smith Hopkins

Sandra Smith Hopkins was born Aug. 21, 1971, to Cordell Wells Sr. and Merry Smith in Chicago, Ill. Sandra departed this life on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021, in Blytheville at the age of 49. She was preceded in death by her mother, Merry Smith.

Sandra life will be forever cherished by her three sons, Jarren Ephriam of Copperas Cove, Texas, Cortedz Ephriam and Rodney Weaver Jr., both of Dallas, Texas; her father; Cordell Wells Sr. of Blytheville; two sisters, Natasha Wells of Blytheville and Shauntez Allen of Jonesboro; three brothers, Cordell Wells Jr. of Blytheville, Jackey Jones of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Jeremy Reynolds of Saginaw, Mich.; grandfather, Eddie Booker of Blytheville; four grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 14, at New St. Paul M.B. Church, 515 E. Sawyer, Blytheville, from 12:00 (noon) until 12:55 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Blytheville, Pastor Clark Phillips officiating.

Due to the COVID-19, temperatures will be checked, face masks are required to be worn and social distance practiced.
