Edna Smith Davis

Edna Smith Davis, 90, of Trumann died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, in Jonesboro. She was born in Florence, Ala., and had lived in Trumann since 1968. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Davis; four sons, Jim Earl Davis, Bobby L. Davis, James Ray Davis and Danny Davis; two daughters, Janie L. Eldridge and Helen L. Renshaw; grandchildren, Mark Renshaw, Larry Eldridge Jr., Bobby Ray Davis and Kim Davis; four sisters; six brothers; her parents, Frank and Maudie Strickland Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by two sisters, Helen Turner of Payneway and Elsie Witt of Black Oak; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery in Florence, Ala. In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering is required, a COVID-19 acknowledgment form is required to be signed and social distancing will be observed.
