Ronald Wayne Hickox

Ronald Wayne Hickox, 74, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Ronald was born in Effingham, Ill., to Wayne and Lucille Foster Hickox. He worked as a mechanic for Phoenix and was of the Church of Christ faith. Ronald served his country with honor in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited for 20 years. Ronald enjoyed astronomy and loved animals.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Hickox.

Ronald leaves his wife, Anne Hickox of Blytheville; three children, Marty Hickox and his wife Leigh Ann of Jonesboro, Jacob Hickox of Blytheville and John Hickox of Flora, Ill.; six brothers, Alan Hickox of Flora, Ill., Ray Hickox of Tishomingo, Miss., Harold Hickox of Newton, Ill., Lee Hickox of Burnsville, Miss., Randy Hickox of Burnsville, Miss., and Larry Hickox of Dundas, Ill.; two sisters, Carol Ann Salyers and Janet Miller, both of Flora, Ill.; one granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Hickox; and special granddaughter, Brittany Chamness.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery with Mr. Greg Groves officiating. There will be no visitation.
