Charles “Chuck” Owen Williams

Charles “Chuck” Owen Williams, 83, of Blytheville, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Charles was born in Stanton, Tenn., to Eddie and Carrie Campbell Williams. He was retired from Agrico and Terra Chemicals and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force where he worked as an aircraft mechanic and retired as a master sergeant. Charles was an active member in his church, serving as a Sunday school teacher and a deacon. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed cutting his grass.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Wade Williams, Sr.; three brothers, Edward Williams, Oscar Wright and Russell Wright; and sister, Frances Surguine.

Chuck leaves his wife of 62 years, Deanna Williams; daughter, Karen Brown and her husband Charley of Armorel; brother, Jerry Williams of Huntsville, Ala.; sister, Peggy Wells of Avon Park, Fla.; grandchildren, Michael Williams, Jr. and his wife Amanda, Justin Brown and his wife Meghan, Christopher Brown and his wife Callie and Katelyn Weaver and her husband Garrett; and great-grandchildren, Billy Williams, Madelyn Williams and Addison Brown.
