Katie Maxine Blake

Katie Maxine Blake, 70, of Luxora, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at her home.

Katie was born in Blytheville to Chester and Lucy Moore Sutton. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at Great River Medical Center for 40 years, and worked in intensive care for over 35 years. Katie was a lifelong area resident and was of the Methodist faith. Katie loved her dogs, reading and watching television.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Blake; and brothers, Larry Sutton and Lester Sutton (Peggy).

Katie leaves her sister, Dixie Owens and her husband Ben of Jonesboro; sister-in-law, Mavis Sutton Flowers of Alabama; niece, Nancy Owens of Jonesboro; and nephews, Ben Owens and his wife Tracy of Jonesboro, Eddie Sutton and his wife Felicia of Blytheville, Larry Sutton and his wife Terry of Luxora and Michael Sutton of Luxora.
