Valerie Ann Lewis Palmore

Valerie Ann Lewis Palmore of Blytheville was born June 25, 1971, in Blytheville to Joe Lewis, Sr. and the late Willie Mae Twilley Lewis. She worked as a tax pro for H&R Block, in HR at Fruit of The Loom and as an insurance agent for Wilson Funeral Home. She was also a member of Abundant Life Christian Church in Blytheville. Mrs. Palmore passed away March 14, 2020, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 48. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Twilley Lewis.

She is survived by her father, Joe Lewis, Sr. of Blytheville; her husband, Sammy Palmore of Blytheville; three sons, Malcolm (Agatha) Cooper of Albuquerque, N.M., Sr. Airman Jamiles Palmore of Great Falls, Mont., and Justin Palmore of North Little Rock; one daughter, Bryvonnia Palmore of Blytheville; two brothers, Kenneth (Wendy) Hunter of Thomasville, Ala., and Joe (LaCandra) Lewis, Jr. of Blytheville; three sisters, Tracy (Ronald) Farmer of Marion, Carlony Lewis of Blytheville and Tamara Lewis of Olive Branch, Miss.; and two grandchildren, Dareaon Cooper and Jamari Cooper, both of Albuquerque, N.M. Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, with Pastor Ronald Farmer officiating. The burial will be held at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Blytheville. Services are provided by Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
