T.W. (Tommie) Taylor Jr.

T.W. (Tommie) Taylor Jr. was born Aug. 25, 1949 in Leland, Miss., to the late T.W. Sr. and June Watkins Taylor. T.W. departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, at his residence in Blytheville at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, C.W. Taylor.

He was a graduate of Harrison High School in Blytheville.(T.W.) was a veteran of the United States Navy and served six years. Upon returning home from the Navy he became an over the road truck driver, as well as various other trades until his death.

Tommie leaves behind four daughters, Brenda (John) Williams of Denver, Colo., Yolunda (Patrick) Williams of Blytheville, Rekeysha Taylor and Brittney Taylor of Omaha, Neb.; three sons, Tyrone Taylor of Portland Ore., Andre Taylor of Omaha, Neb., and Andre Davis of Osceola; four special bonus children, Natasha McCoy of Charlotte, N.C., Leteka Mathis of Omaha, Neb., Jeffery King of Blytheville and Keenon King of Dallas, Texas; six sisters, Bobbie Hampton, Dorothy (Calvin) Clark, Linda Mathis, Juanita Taylor, all of Blytheville, Gloria Taylor of Houston, Texas, and Evelyn (Bishaara) Clark of Oakland, Calif.; one brother, David (Evelene) Taylor of Columbia, S.C. He also leaves a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 19, at New St. Paul Church.
