Victoria Gail Lindley

Victoria Gail Lindley, 75, of Steele, Mo., passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at River Oaks Nursing Home in Steele. Born in Enville, Tenn., to William and Vera Moore England, Victoria was a graduate of Cooter High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Cole Ridge Baptist Church. Victoria loved to read her Bible, quilt and fish. She was an avid gardener who loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton “Don” Lindley; three brothers, Junior, Teddy and Jack England; and two sisters, Sue Eisenbeis and Virginia McClure.

Victoria leaves five children, Timmy Lindley and his wife Jane of Steele, Tammy Eiermann and her husband K.C. of Sauk Village, Illinois, Cynthia Utermark and her husband Martin of Beecher, Illinois, Carisa Murphy and her husband Patrick of Blytheville and Carl Lindley of Memphis; two brothers, Joseph England of Fayetteville and Mike England of Huffman; two sisters, Shirley Ann Yates of Cooter and Joy West of Holland; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 27, at 11:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Lacer officiating. Burial will follow in Number Eight Cemetery in Cooter. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
